Reports and exports

Last updated October 18, 2026

Everything Needlz measures can leave the app — as a report you forward, or as data you cut your own way. Both live on the Reports page, and both appear once your first measurement has run. The numbers themselves are explained in reading your measurement.

The one-pager

One page, built to be forwarded without editing: where you stand, what moved, which AI is naming you, what you did about it, and what to do next. There is nothing to configure — it is always the same page, which is exactly what makes it safe to send to a client or a board.

Every report carries a "Get your own AI-visibility report" footer, so when it is forwarded, Needlz travels with it.

The complete report

One section per Monitoring page, in the order they appear in the menu: where you stand, competitors, what moved, the buying journey, where answers come from, whether AI can read your site, and how the AIs describe you.

Every section is ticked by default, so the standard report is the complete one. Untick anything you do not want and the file is rebuilt — the download button always names the selection, so what you get matches what you ticked. You can take the same thing as a CSV instead of a PDF.

Pivot your data

If neither report cuts the data the way you need it, the pivot does. Pick what makes the rows, what makes the columns, and which number fills the cells — you can cross-tabulate every measured question by AI, by buying-journey stage, by sentiment, or by whether you were cited at all. The table rebuilds as you change it, and you can export exactly what you built as a CSV.

Past reports

The archive is one row per month: how often the AI answers named you by the end of it, how many citations that measurement found, and what changed. It fills in as your months complete, so your first period appears once a month of measurements is behind you.

One limit worth knowing: reopening a past period shows the headline measurements stored for it, not the per-question detail behind them. Competitor gaps, the sources feeding each answer and the per-AI breakdown are not kept at that depth — so if a particular month matters to you, download its report while it is current.

What a report will and will not claim

Every number carries the count behind it — how many questions it rests on, not just a percentage — because the cover promises measured, not estimated. And if a measurement was still coming in when you generated the file, the document says so above the figures rather than printing them as final.

If your brand covers more than one market, the page carries a market switcher, and each document prints the market and the AIs it covers — so whoever reads it always knows the scope of the numbers in front of them.

Reports follow your plan: they are there while your plan or trial is active and, like the rest of your measurement, they stop when access ends. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.
