This page does two jobs: it is the legal disclaimer that applies to all AI Suggestions generated by the Platform, and it is our public statement of how Needlz believes AI-assisted community participation should be done. It is incorporated into the Terms & Conditions.
Our Transparency Pledge (public)
Needlz helps brands get recommended and cited in AI answers by earning their place in the public conversations AI systems trust — never by gaming them. In practice:
- A human approves every reply. Nothing is auto-posted. Every suggestion is reviewed, edited, and published by a real person who stands behind it.
- Disclosure is built in. Suggestions identify the author's affiliation with the brand ("I work on X", "founder here") — we design for disclosure, not around it. If a customer switches that default off, responsibility for the consequences sits with them.
- Value first. A reply must genuinely help the thread it joins. Our own quality checks reject suggestions that don't, and reject repeats of a reply already used elsewhere.
- Community rules are the floor, not an obstacle. Respecting each platform's self-promotion and disclosure rules is a requirement of using Needlz (see our Acceptable Use Policy).
- Measured, not projected. Every visibility number we report is measured from real AI answers at a point in time. We do not model, estimate, or embellish results.
- Earned, never rented. We do not sell, place, or manipulate citations, votes, or rankings — and we never will.
How AI Is Used in the Platform
- Measurement. We read publicly generated answers from AI answer engines — currently including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Gemini — and compute metrics from what they say. Additional engines may be offered as optional paid Add-Ons. Coverage varies by plan and any Add-Ons you have purchased, and can change (see Terms, Section 9).
- Prioritisation. Our proprietary engine, NDLZ-1 (Needlz Labs), ranks which public conversations are most likely to influence future answers.
- Drafting. AI models generate reply drafts in your brand voice, with disclosure applied by default and a safety indicator attached.
- Learning. Outcomes of replies you post, and the edits you make, are used to improve suggestions for you. Cross-customer improvement uses only aggregated, de-identified information (see the Privacy Policy).
AI answer engines are probabilistic. The same question can produce different answers minutes apart, and answers vary by user and location. Our measurements describe what we observed, when we observed it.
AI Content Disclaimer (legal)
AI CONTENT — PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING
Content generated by the Needlz Platform is produced by an artificial intelligence system. It is a suggestion only — not an instruction or a recommendation to post.
Before posting any AI-generated content to Reddit, Quora, X, or any other platform, you must:
- Read the suggestion in full and verify it is accurate, appropriate, and compliant with applicable rules.
- Satisfy yourself that posting will not violate the target platform's community guidelines or terms of service.
- Add any legally required disclosures, including affiliation disclosure and any advertising or AI-transparency label required where you or your audience are located.
- Edit the content as necessary so it reflects your genuine voice and views.
Safety indicators, pacing guidance, and priority scores shown in the Platform are heuristics to inform your judgement — not assurances that a post is permitted, safe, or compliant.
Needlz accepts no responsibility for the consequences of posting AI-generated content, including account suspensions or bans, reputational damage, regulatory action, or any other adverse outcome. Account bans arising from your use of the Platform are your risk; no refunds are issued on account of a ban or suspension.
By copying, posting, or otherwise acting on a suggestion, you confirm you have reviewed it and take full responsibility for the decision to publish it.
Nothing on this page enlarges Needlz's liability beyond the limits set out in the Terms & Conditions, Section 15.
Regulatory Notes by Region
- European Union. Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act) introduces transparency obligations for certain AI-generated or AI-manipulated content, applying from 2 August 2026. Where those obligations apply to what you publish, meeting them is your responsibility as the publisher; our disclosure-by-default design is intended to help.
- France. Advertising and influence rules (including ARPP recommendations and the French Consumer Code) require clear identification of commercial communications.
- Brazil. The Consumer Defence Code and CONAR's self-regulation require that commercial communication be identifiable as such.
- United States / United Kingdom. FTC Endorsement Guides and ASA/CAP rules require disclosure of material connections between endorser and brand.

Version History
| Version | Date | Summary |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 | July 22, 2026 | Initial disclaimer and pledge |
| 2.0 | August 15, 2026 | Added "how AI is used" (engines measured, NDLZ-1 prioritisation, drafting, learning); measured-not-projected pledge; safety indicators framed as heuristics; region notes for the EU AI Act (from 2 August 2026), France, Brazil, US/UK; disclosure-off responsibility |
| 2.1 | July 30, 2026 | Reconciled with the Terms & Conditions as the reference generation: the engines listed as currently measured now match the engines actually in service, and optional paid Add-On coverage is noted as it is in the Terms; contact address aligned with the rest of the set; added a pointer to the liability limits in the Terms so this page cannot be read as widening them; internal cross-references now point at published routes |
