Getting started with Needlz

Last updated August 31, 2026

Setup takes about ten minutes, and you do not need to connect any social media accounts. Here is what happens, in order.

You sign in with your Google account — there is no separate password to create or manage. If you are trying Needlz first, the free trial starts the moment your account exists; what it includes and how it ends are answered plainly on the getting-started FAQ.

Tell Needlz about your brand

You give Needlz your website. It reads the site and drafts your brand profile for you: what you do, the product category you compete in, suggested buyer questions worth tracking, and the competitors worth watching. You review and edit all of it — the suggestions are a starting point, not a decision. Nothing is tracked until you confirm it.

Two of these choices matter more than the rest: the buyer questions (the real questions your customers ask an AI — this is the heart of the product) and your home market (the country and language your buyers are in, which is where Needlz focuses its conversation discovery). Both have their own guide: Buyer questions and markets.

Your first scan

As soon as setup completes, Needlz goes to work on two things at once: it measures where you stand — asking your buyer questions across the AI engines and recording whether you are cited, and who is cited instead — and it sweeps the communities for live conversations worth joining. Your first results appear as the scan completes; you do not need to trigger anything.

The daily rhythm

From then on, Needlz re-measures your questions and re-sweeps the communities every 24 hours, on every plan. A normal week looks like this: you check the dashboard, read what changed, open the two or three conversations Needlz ranked highest, and post the replies that deserve posting — with your judgement applied first. Consistency beats volume; a steady presence is what AI answers eventually reflect.

Where to go next: Reading your measurement explains what the numbers mean, and Threads and drafts explains the reply workflow. If you get stuck, email support@needlz.ai — a human reads every message.
